How do I find the Harvard Referencing Guide?

Modified on Tue, 6 Jun, 2023 at 1:01 PM

All of our students across all of our programmes are required to reference using the Harvard referencing system.

Introductions to Harvard Referencing can be found on Day 5 of the Study Skills module, accessible throughout your programme. This can be found on your dashboard.

It is vital to understand the nuances of referencing vs plagiarism. It is also essential to be able to reference correctly, as failure to do so could result in a low grade due to poor academic practice or, potentially, failure because of academic fraud.

You are able to locate further guidance relating to referencing via the Academic Skills section within the Learna Library as shown below. Here you will find detailed information relating how to avoid Plagiarism and a direct link to the Harvard Referencing Guide.

More detailed guidance on Harvard Referencing can also be found here, on Mendeley's website.

If you need any further assistance relating to Harvard referencing, please get in touch with Student Services.
