How Do I Insert An Image?

Modified on Wed, 30 Aug 2023 at 03:37 PM

Students are free to illustrate their posts with images, graphs and various other media including videos.
This facility is available in the reply field once you click to reply to a post. This feature is available in various places such as Academic Forum discussions, Module Activity Forums (for Group Assignments)..

To add a picture to your posts, please click to reply to  a post. The option to add a picture can be located in ‘Your Reply’ under the message text field.

To submit an image in to the relevant discussion, you will need to click on the ‘insert image' button, with the icon of a picture. This is located at the top of the message box on the right-hand side of the hyperlink icons.

Once you have clicked to insert an image you will be prompted to browse to find one on your computer or paste in the URL with the image address form online.

Please Note: Inserting images, tables, or graphs into discussions within the Academic Forum or Module Activity Forum with your text will obstruct the content going through the Turnitin platform, as these are not recognised by the plagiarism-checker. However, please do not worry if you do not receive a similarity percentage from Turnitin, as your Tutor is still able to check your work externally from our Moodle platform.
